Personal Performance Improvement Day
This is open to members of Devizes Bowmen. The event this year is to be held on Sunday 28th APRIL. at Nurstead School.
Time: 9.00am until 5.00pm
This will be the 5th year of holding this event which has proven to be very popular.
It is particularly useful for the newer members of the club and a great refresher for more experienced members.
During the morning session:
To provide individuals with the opportunity to have their archery equipment checked out for correct set up and to identify what could be improved.
To have your shooting style/technique observed and identify any areas considered for improvement.
To provide you with the opportunity, under observation, for you to practice your shooting and to consider how this could be improved.
During the afternoon session:
It is proposed to hold a small competition shooting 5 Dozen arrows at 15 yards.
Probably a “Short Worcester” round.
Finally:
A nominal charge of £10 per head will be made to cover the cost of hiring the hall.
It is suggested you bring your own refreshments/lunch.
